Companies that run HostyFlow
Every restaurant on HostyFlow runs on these four companies.
What it does. Runs HostyFlow: the website, your restaurant page, the Workstation, the database, file storage and the queue that passes work between them. It sends HostyFlow's emails (confirmations, reminders, sign-in codes) and receives mail sent to your HostyFlow inbox. It connects your own domain to your page and issues its secure certificate.
Speech and language. Its models turn what a caller says into text, write HostyFlow's replies on calls, texts and chat, speak those replies on the phone and transcribe voicemails. The models run on Cloudflare's servers. HostyFlow does not send this information to the companies that made the models.
What it touches. Everything HostyFlow keeps: bookings, guest names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes, messages, call recordings and transcripts, voicemails, faxes, photos, and your team's names and sign-ins.
Where. Cloudflare's data centers. Cloudflare picks the data center that stores each record.
What it does. The phone company behind your HostyFlow number. It carries your calls, texts and faxes.
What it touches. Guest phone numbers, the words in each text, call audio while the call is connected, and fax pages.
Where. United States.
What it does. Hosts the call server that connects a live phone call to HostyFlow.
What it touches. The caller's phone number and the call audio while the call is live.
Where. New Jersey, United States.
What it does. Charges your HostyFlow plan. When you take deposits, prepaid menus or tickets, guests pay on Stripe's own page into your restaurant's Stripe account. HostyFlow keeps 0% and never sees a card number.
What it touches. Your billing contact and plan. For guest payments: the guest's name, email, the amount and the card, which the guest types on Stripe's page.
Where. United States, and the other countries where Stripe runs its service.
Only when you turn them on
These companies handle your information only if your restaurant connects them or adds them to your page.
What it does. If you connect a Gmail mailbox, HostyFlow sends and reads guest emails through it, and Google Cloud tells HostyFlow when new mail arrives. If you turn on booking through Google, Google passes on bookings guests make there and receives your open times. Your page shows a Google map of your address.
What it touches. Guest emails in your mailbox, the name, phone number, email and party size of each Google booking, and your restaurant's address.
Where. Google's data centers.
What it does. If you connect a Microsoft 365 mailbox, HostyFlow sends and reads guest emails through it.
What it touches. Guest emails in your mailbox.
Where. Microsoft's data centers.
What it does. If you add a video tour from YouTube or Vimeo, your page plays it with their video player.
What it touches. The video you chose. The guest's browser loads the player from them.
Where. Their own data centers.
