Your Setup Guide, Step by Step
Setup walks you through eleven steps, from your restaurant's name to going live. You can skip a step and come back to it.
Open setup
- Sign in as an owner or a manager.
- While your restaurant is still in setup, HostyFlow opens on Setup.
- Later, open Settings and choose Open the setup guide to walk through it again.
The eleven steps
- Your restaurant: your name, address, city, the phone number guests call, cuisine and website.
- Hours and services: turn on each service you run and set its hours. HostyFlow takes bookings only inside them.
- Floor plan: pick the starting layout closest to your room, then choose how many tables to apply.
- Tables and turn times: set how long parties usually stay, the most covers per 15 minutes and the buffer between parties.
- Invite your team: add each person's first name and email, choose Staff or Manager, then press Send invites.
- Bring your guest list: upload the export from your old system.
- Texts, email and phone: set up your HostyFlow number and your restaurant's HostyFlow email.
- Booking page: choose the address guests use to book with you.
- Payments: connect your bank so you can take deposits and fees.
- Your plan: review what is due today and start your plan.
- Go live: check the list, then press Go live.
Moving through setup
Use Back, Skip for now and Continue at the bottom of each step.
The side list shows a check next to every step you finish.
To go live, finish Your restaurant, the texts and email step, and Your plan.
You can change everything later in Settings.

Signing In with an Email Code
You sign in to HostyFlow with a 6-digit code sent to your email. There is no password to remember.
Who's Working and Shifts
One signed-in device can serve your whole team. Each person taps their name, enters the code HostyFlow sends them, and sees the tools their role allows.
Adding Your Team and Choosing What Staff Can Do
Add each person on Team, give them Staff or Manager access, and choose in Settings which actions staff logins can take.
Importing Your Guest List
Upload the export from your old booking system as a CSV file. HostyFlow brings over guests, past visits, future bookings, notes and tags.
