Joining Tables by Dropping One on Another
Drag a table onto the table beside it to join them for a larger party. Split them again from the table card.
Join two tables
- Open Floor.
- Drag one table until its edge touches the other table, then let go.
- The dragged table moves flush against the other one.
- A badge above the pair shows both names and the seats added together, such as T1 + T2 · 10.
If one of the tables has a party, that party gets both tables.
Two tables can be joined, not more.
Bar and counter seats are never joined to a table.
Two tables that each have a different party cannot be joined.
Split them again
- Tap either table to open its card.
- Press Split, followed by the pair's names, such as Split T1 + T2.
Split shows only when no party is seated at either table.
The join lasts for that day until someone splits it. The next day starts with no joins.
Every join and split can be undone from the HostyFlow panel.
Joined tables and seating suggestions
HostyFlow treats a joined pair as one table with both tables' seats when it suggests where to seat a party.
When no single table fits a party, it can suggest two tables to join, with the seats they give together.
Tables next to each other can always be joined for a larger party.
In the design panel, the Joins with row on a table lets you pick other tables in its area that can join it too.

Sections and Who Is Serving Them
Group tables into sections and choose who serves each section today. The server's name shows on the table card.
