Saved Floor Plans, Templates and Event Layouts
Save the floor as a plan and switch back to it later. Start from a template or lay out an event in one area.
Save and switch floor plans
- Open the design panel and choose Plans.
- Press Save the floor as a plan, type a name and press Save.
- To switch, tap a plan marked Use this plan. The plan on the floor is marked On the floor.
- To keep edits to the plan on the floor, press Save changes, followed by its name.
Each plan name can be up to 40 characters, and two plans cannot share a name.
Deleting a plan leaves the floor on screen as it is. Only the saved plan goes.
Plans are one list for the whole restaurant. HostyFlow does not switch them by service or date.
Templates and event layouts
- On Plans, pick a template such as Neighborhood bistro or Wine bar with high tops, then press Replace the floor.
- For an event layout such as Banquet rounds or Theater, pick the area to lay it out in, or The whole floor.
HostyFlow will not switch plans or replace the floor while guests are seated, or while tonight's bookings sit on tables the layout does not have.
Undo in the HostyFlow panel puts the floor back after a template or a plan switch.

Joining Tables by Dropping One on Another
Drag a table onto the table beside it to join them for a larger party. Split them again from the table card.

The plus button on the floor opens Design the floor. Add tables, bars, rooms and areas, then tap anything to name, resize, color or remove it.
Levels and Entrances
Add a level for an upstairs room or a rooftop, and place each entrance on its wall.
Floor Colors and Themes
Color the whole floor with one of nine themes, or color a single table, area or piece.
Sections and Who Is Serving Them
Group tables into sections and choose who serves each section today. The server's name shows on the table card.
